I have found that in my experience with Excel, as I journeyed from novice to power user, I have reached a point where I favor simplicity and even &quot;elegance&quot; over anything else. Like any other application, I feel that spreadsheet applications should have a clean feel and an obvious purpose. The end user does not always benefit from a spreadsheet programmer &quot;flexing&quot; his muscles in the form of needless macros, array formulas, and other powerful, but often unneeded, features.</description>
