John Stroud's Biography
Prior to founding Digit, John was a member of Babcock & Brown's Corporate & Structured Finance team in Sydney which specialised in the origination, structuring, participating in, and management of equity and debt investments across multiple sectors. John was responsible for the development, construction and review of complex deal and fund models as well as managing the financial aspects of transactions.
Prior to Babcock and Brown John was a senior member of the Ernst and Young Financial Modelling Group in both London and Sydney. He was responsible for the execution, delivery and team management of financial modelling and reviewing assignments across all deals types and industries.
John spent the first 6 years of his career at Rolls-Royce Plc in the Power and Aerospace divisions working in various project finance, business planning and M&A teams.
John has over 10 years of dedicated financial modelling experience across multiple disciplines and in a wide range of industry sectors.
